Magento 2 checkout required validation for custom form with dropdown is not working
I have created a new custom-checkout-form under the shipping-address-fieldset with an select option.
It is showing the validation failure (“This is a required field.”) on the checkout page load. But when I click next it doesn’t stop the process, it continues to payment section .
Any of you have any example like this?
If I debug “/default/en_GB/Magento_Checkout/js/view/shipping.js(line 297-291)”, I can see “this.source.get('params.invalid')” is not coming "true" for the new field, but it does for the “country_id” if not selected.
