How to handle multiline field in magento admin (bundle selection)

.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ margin-bottom:0;
}

I need to control (via ajax or some other way) a multiline UI field I've added in magento admin in bundle option (with some other customization, an other filed) as image here.

enter image description here

Now I'd like to change the size of the multiline field based on number of otpions there are in the multiselect field. The multiselect field is populated via ajax.

As I'm not very confident with UI component javascript, could someone show me the right way to do that?
Thank you.
