How do I change the default store / store view without it locking me out of the backend admin?
I have a single website, multi store / store view set up on magento CE 1.9.2.4
Currently the "default store" is the one that is default in magento to start with. I have 3 other stores and each has its own store view... I want to set one of these other 3 stores / store views as default to load on the front end instead of the "default store" AND
I also want my admin to continue working as it is now... how do I achieve this using just the magento provided config settings? Is this even possible?

the problem is we do not use the default store for anything ... I just want to set one of my other store views as the default one to load... and if I try and change the default store i lose access to the admin area
