Orders are placed in magento 2 enterprise even when transactions have failed

0

Some of our clients has faced some downtime issue due to which they tried to place order repeatedly as order confirmation was not being displayed. But when i verified CMS, multiple orders in processing state has been placed for each of their attempts but transaction history was blank. Is there any way to have below solution in such case?

1) Orders for which payment has failed should not be displayed in orders section.
OR
2) The orders for which payment has failed is displayed with 'Cancelled' status so that the CMS admin does not process it.
